At noon on Tuesday 28 October 2025, the strongest hurricane ever to make landfall in Jamaica came ashore at New Hope. These three songs follow one mother and her children from the morning after to the first block of the new house. Every dollar you give goes to the families still rebuilding.

Where the money goes
All of it, less the payment processor's fee, goes into CRM JA Charity's Melissa rebuilding fund. The charity has been in the hardest-hit communities since the week of the storm: care packages, community water tanks, roof repairs, and a free clinical team at community health fairs.
US$25 fills one care package. US$100 buys the zinc, nails and sealant for one rural roof. The total above updates the moment a gift clears, and we will post what was delivered, with photos, on this page.
